Cardiovascular receiving centers

The current OCEMS Cardiovascular Receiving Center list, with the key distinction between designation and cath-lab availability.

Official source summary · Effective January 1, 2026 · Updated 2026-09-16

CVRC designation does not prove the cath lab is available

  • For suspected or identified acute MI, the OCEMS chest-pain standing order requires base contact for a CVRC with an available catheterization laboratory.
  • This list is not a live availability or diversion feed.
  • Transmit and communicate the 12-lead according to current agency and base-hospital workflow; do not let a normal tracing override a concerning clinical presentation.

Current cardiovascular receiving centers

  • Thirteen hospitals appear on OCEMS Policy 240.40, effective January 1, 2026.
  • The facility list establishes designation. Base contact and current system status determine the operational destination.

Field routing sequence

  1. Recognize suspected ACS or an anginal equivalent, obtain an early 12-lead, and treat under the applicable standing order.
  2. For suspected or identified acute MI, contact base and report symptoms, onset, serial 12-lead findings, rhythm, vital-sign trends, medications, contraindications, and response.
  3. Use the base-directed CVRC with an available catheterization laboratory. A hospital's appearance on this page alone is not a transport assignment.
  4. Continue reassessment and repeat the 12-lead when the clinical picture changes or the initial tracing is nondiagnostic.
