When you browse

You can read and search without a cookie-consent prompt. Browser analytics and advertising are off. Our host, Netlify, still processes technical logs to deliver and protect the site and report aggregate visits.

When you email us

Microsoft Outlook handles support email. We use your message to respond and delete support messages within one calendar year. Microsoft’s recovery and backup systems may keep copies separately.

Please do not send patient information, passwords or other sensitive details.

When you use the app

The iOS app has separate controls for location and notifications in iOS Settings. If you enable notifications, our service stores a push token and notification settings. It also records delivery results, when the app sees a notice in the foreground, and when you open a notice. These records are linked to the app installation to operate notifications and measure their delivery and use. They are not used for advertising tracking. Location and hospital information

With your permission, OCMedic uses location to find nearby hospitals and estimate distances and ordinary driving times. Route estimates use Apple’s mapping service. Pinned Live Activities can use location in the background until all hospital Live Activities end or location permission is withdrawn. Optional location sharing for Door Codes approval is separate.

OCMedic is not an emergency dispatch or emergency-assistance service. It does not dispatch responders or transmit your location to emergency services to summon help. To request emergency assistance, call 911 or use your agency’s established emergency communication procedures.

App usage choices

Build 20 and later can report daily counts of app opens and main-section visits, plus app version and build. Turn off Share app usage in the app’s Settings to stop collection and clear unsent counts. Our usage store contains aggregate events and temporary batch identifiers, not names, searches, locations, patient information or door-code values. When you request protected access

Requesting Door Codes access sends your name, EMT/paramedic number and employer to OCMedic administrators. Starting with build 21, you may include a one-time approximate location to help review whether you are in or around Orange County. You can decline or be outside the area and still submit. We retain the submitted details, any optional location with its capture time and accuracy, your attestation, and approval, decline, revocation and withdrawal history as an access register. Withdrawing access does not delete the record. Contact support for corrections or deletion requests. The form explains this before you submit.

Your information and rights

We do not sell customer information or share it for advertising. Service providers help operate the website, app and email. Sale and advertising sharing stay off for all visitors, including browsers using Global Privacy Control. Contact us about access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests.
